CAN8

CAN8 is a new system installed in 2004 that replaces the old cassette audio lab in the LDC.

Locations:

CAN8 can only be used on the PCs in LDC 241 or LDC 243. Hours and schedules of those labs are on the Lanuage Center website: http://www.carleton.edu/departments/mlcr/ldc241~3.html

System Administrators are Carly Born, cborn@carleton.edu, x7010, and Teri Takehiro, ttakehir@carleton.edu, x7386. Julie McFadden?, jmcfadde@carleton.edu, x4729 are responsible for the server that CAN8 runs on

Language Center staff have been trained in using CAN8 and can answer most basic problems. Student user information is available from Carly's Foreign Language Technology site, http://webapps.acs.carleton.edu/its/flt/labsoftware/studguide/

Problems with CAN8 should be immediately reported to Carly, Teri or Julie (in that order).
