Which Language Keyboards are available in the labs?

  • Japanese
  • Chinese PRC (includes both Simplified and Traditional)
  • Russian Standard
  • Russian Homophonic (Windows Only)
  • Korean
  • US Standard
  • US International
  • Hebrew

Keyboards not already installed can be easily added after login (they do not require restart or logoff). Instructions on how to do this can be found on Carly's FLT webpage.

How do I get rid of unwanted forgein language characters in my Word document?

While in Word, click on the small blue box on the bottom right area of your Windows toolbar, you should see a list of languages, select English (United States).
