Microsoft Excel is a program that works with the manipulation of data.
The latest versions of Microsoft Excel for MacOS and Windows are located in all public computing labs.
Go to Data, Import External Data. In general, the preferred file type is delimited. See if there is anything that separated (de-limited) the data you are about to import, such as tabs or commas. If so, check those off in the delimiters before importing.
Auto Fill is a feature of Excel that helps to avoid repetitive typing. Let's say you are entering numbers in a consecutive integer sequence down a column. After typing 1, 2, 3, you can drag the fill handle down as many rows as you please, and Auto Fill will fill in the cells correctly to the n-th row. The fill handle is located in the bottom right of the selected cell(s).
Data-->Filter.
Data-->Sort
Insert-->Function; Excel has many functions for data manipulation, including summation.
In Page Setup, you may want to choose "Fit to Page" and Print Preview your data before printing in order to not accidentally waste paper. In print preview, you can view the page breaks by clicking on the page break preview button. Also, you can adjust where the page breaks are by clicking and dragging them with your mouse.
